Amsterdam and Prague are the two places we always wanted to be since they both are known for their charismatic vibe that involves partying, clubbing, staying in hostels and meeting new people from all over the globe with no intention to Networking. Yes, that's important when you travel. Don't try to network. Just try to make friends.
Prague, the capital city of Czech Republic has been one of the craziest places we've ever been to, maybe even a bit more crazy than Amsterdam. It's cheap, it's comfortable and has young crowd all over who want to go crazy at the world's best bars and clubs. We were a part of a team that wanted to taste home brew at all cafes and bars in the city.
I guess that was the most embarrassing and amazing day of our entire trip. It really was!
The Pub Crawl helped us meet people from all over the world and chat with them, get to know them and have the craziest times with them as well. We had taken an early morning flight to Prague from Amsterdam and it was a good short flight, as I remember.
Memories are made when you really want to have fun. And that's what we did.
Amsterdam, the city of canals genuinely blew us away. It still feels like a dream sometimes when I'm going through the photos and I ask myself, 'Did I really visit Amsterdam. Did I?'. It was so beautiful and I remember when we landed, we took a bus to our hostel and for an Indian where holding hands or hugging in public area is a huge deal, we saw couples making out the entire time. I'm not gonna lie, I got my hopes up! I was ready to explore the city. Lol.
You know one of the craziest things about Amsterdam streets is........
is that there are streets that have this crazy "Alcohol" sign board where you're allowed to take some beer or wine and have it right on the stairs and watch the city go silent and calm and chiller as you see the sun go down.
Trust me, we spent every night there. Every 5 and a half minutes, a tram used to cross us and we remember this because we set up timer to calculate it. The view, the vibe, the atmosphere and the friends, everything was just perfect. Perfect!
I have been to Dubai, Singapore, New York and Miami but the kind of happiness Amsterdam showered upon me, it was fascinating. Very fascinating!
